So, this is what it looks like. We got our dossier back from the Chinese Consulate. My husband called me on the afternoon we got it and started singing a song about Taitlyn coming home soon. It was very sweet and FUNNY! Finally, paperwork is DONE. I just have to copy like a mad women and then send in our dossier via UPS to our agency CCAI(http://chinesechildren.org). Yahoo! Doesn't seem real that we are here. Thank you God for guiding me through this crazy paperwork. I am going to upload some pictures of the family this week and then when I get my official Lock in Date (LID) I will post that. After that, I will be taking a break from the blog and computer. I really need to concentrate on my family this summer. I will periodicaly update, but not much. God is Amazing! Everyone who reads this...please say a prayer for our family to have patience and wisdom through out the wait. Also, please pray for a speedy referral so we can bring Taitlyn home soon! God Bless!

NI Hao! (HELLO IN CHINESE) Just a real quick update and I promise when I actually get time I will upload some pics of the family and such. But, Wed. June 13th, I was feeling sad and blue about the Chinese adoption process and the length. When to my surprise I got a blessing in the mail. At first I couldn't believe it. I looked over the envelope and then opened it. Then I read the letter and kept looking for it to say that I did something wrong with the paperwork. I couldn't believe my eyes.It is referred to as "THE GOLDEN TICKET". The I-171h, which is the approval of the United States Government to bring a orphan (OUR DAUGHTER) to our country and adopt her. Can I say THANK YOU GOD! He truly knew what I needed. I was completely surprised, because normally it can take a LONG time to get this approval. Our approval was done VERY RAPIDLY! Thank you JESUS! So, today we went to the Clerk of courts and the State dept and got everything certified and such. Then, I went to the post office and overnighter all the paperwork to the Chinese Consulate in NYC. Hopefully, I will get all of my paperwork back in a week or so and then forward it to our Adoption agency in Colorado. Our agency is called Chinese Children Adoption International (CCAI). Then we will be officially Locked in (LID) at the CCAA. The CCAA is the agency in China that matches you and refers you with your child. So, until I get more time to upgrade pictures and stuff....Ti Jin (Goodbye in Chinese).

Just a quick update before we go on vacation Sunday. Last weekend went well. My boys were in my niece Ashleys wedding. She was beautiful and they were handsome. I will put some pics of it up when we get back. Today we received our copy of the "official homestudy from our Social Worker. I am going to try to get things authenticated before I leave. The key word is I WILL TRY! The sooner I get my side of the paperwork done, the quicker our paperwork will get to China.
Today was the last day of school and I am looking foward to a little RR at the beach. I know I won't be able to update this site until we get back...so, God Bless and stayed tuned.
